Water vapour is by far the world's most damaging contaminant – not only in its own right, but it reduces the effectiveness of pharmaceutical, healthcare and medical products.  The permeating vapours can also bring contamination from chemical and biological toxins and impurities.  All of which shortens shelf-life and potency.

To counter this Versaperm has introduced a multi-chamber instrument that allows you to identify and correct problems by measuring the vapour permeability not just for water vapour but for virtually other gas as well. 

The Versaperm system is typically accurate in the Parts per Million (PPM) or Parts Per Billion ranges and it works just as well on capsules, packaging, tubes, jars, containers or packaging as it does on products ranging from gas pipelines to injectable, gloves or clean peel systems.

The latest Versaperm system can produce results in as little as 30 minutes for some materials.  This speeds the never-ending quest for quality control and effective packaging with new marketing and technical features. 

The new instrument can measure several samples at the same time and the company offers a fast turnaround laboratory testing service as well as a consultancy service.
